About Angela

Angela Jia joined Forsyth Barr in 2020. She has over 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, having worked as a private banker as well as various roles in the business and retail sector.

Angela is registered as a financial adviser, and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. She holds a Bachelor of Business Studies, double majoring Finance and Marketing from Massey University (2007).

Angela is originally from Inner Mongolia, China. She moved to New Zealand in 2001 to study and now she calls New Zealand home. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and understands Cantonese. Besides assisting clients to protect and grow their wealth, Angela is passionate about assisting new migrants to settle in New Zealand and specialises in investment strategies that meet Immigration New Zealand’s requirements for both Investor Category 1 and 2. Angela has two young children; whenever she has time she loves to travel with her family and show her children the world.
