About Charles

Charles joined Forsyth Barr Nelson in 2019, he has over 15 years of financial markets experience including a decade abroad working at global banks in London, Melbourne and Sydney.

Charles is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Otago (2005), and he also holds a Diploma of Financial Markets (2016) through the Australian Financial Markets Authority.

Charles moved with his family to his wife’s hometown of Nelson in early 2019. He has three children who keep him entertained and busy, and as a keen sportsman likes to be involved in all things sport, specifically rugby, cricket, golf and tennis.
