About Chelsea
Chelsea Leadbetter joined Forsyth Barr in 2008. She is Head of Wealth Development and was appointed an Executive Director in 2022.
Prior to this, Chelsea spent over a decade in Forsyth Barr's Research team across a variety of roles; most recently as a Senior Equity Analyst. She was consistently a ranked analyst in the INFINZ industry awards for her research coverage. Chelsea was also the recipient of the INFINZ Emerging Leader award in 2019.
Chelsea studied a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science at Victoria University, majoring in Finance and Psychology. She gained a Victoria Graduate Award and went on to complete her Honours degree in Finance. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the Institute of Finance Professionals NZ (INFINZ). Chelsea is also a current Board Director for the CFA Society of New Zealand.
