About Damian
Damian Kearns joined Forsyth Barr in 2011. Initially employed as a KiwiSaver Specialist, he became an Investment Adviser in our Auckland office in 2013. Prior to Forsyth Barr, Damian gained over five years of experience in consulting for the largest member-owned association in New Zealand.
Damian is registered as a financial adviser, is accredited as an NZX Adviser, and gained a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major from the University of Otago. During this time, he successfully represented the University of Otago in Business Case Competitions nationally and internationally, and was awarded the highest extra curricular accolade from the University in recognition of these achievements.
In 2018 Damian became an inaugural Associate Member of CFA Society New Zealand. The overarching purpose of the membership is to raise the standard of ethics within New Zealand’s finance sector.
