Dave Fennessy joined Forsyth Barr in 2022, having previously worked in Commercial and Agri sectors in the banking industry.

Dave is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago.

Dave went to school in Timaru and is very passionate about the South Canterbury region and its people. He is a firm believer of acting with the highest level of professionalism, honesty and integrity and has a history of building long-term relationships with his clients and colleagues. Dave is married to Lucy and they have two girls, Libby & Annie. He is a keen sports fan and golfer, coaches two junior cricket teams and is currently secretary of the Pleasant Point Cricket Club.
