About Matt

Matt Montgomerie joined Forsyth Barr in 2020.  Matt is a Senior Equity Analyst with research coverage of the Dairy and Healthcare sectors. Prior to this, Matt supported research coverage across a variety of other sectors including Aged Care, Media and Telecommunications.

In 2019, Matt completed a Bachelor of Business degree at Waikato University, majoring in Finance and Accounting. During his tenure at Waikato University, Matt spent a semester abroad in Singapore on the New Zealand government issued Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia and was part of the winning Waikato University team at the New Zealand CFA Research Challenge in 2018, which subsequently led to him representing Waikato University at the 2019 CFA Research Challenge Asia Pacific Final in Sydney.
