About Phil

Phil Burke joined Forsyth Barr in 2020. He brings a developed skillset in Portfolio Management, Financial Advice, Trading, Hedging, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange, garnered from a 20 year career working in senior and executive roles for a number of top tier global banks.

Phil is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. He holds a BEng from the University of Canterbury, as well as the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5). Additionally, he has held certifications in foreign exchange and financial markets.

Phil values the importance of building longstanding relationships and producing tailored investment solutions where his clients can flourish and prosper. Outside of work, Phil had a reasonably active sporting background in his younger years, but now enjoys some mid-week tennis and supporting his four kids in a variety of sports.
