About Shelly

Shelly Joyes joined Forsyth Barr Auckland in 2020. She has 25 years’ experience in financial advice and relationship management for Private Banking, Commercial and Investment clients in both New Zealand and Australia. Shelly’s focus is on strong communication, integrity and building trust in all interactions.

Shelly is registered as a financial adviser and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. She holds a University Degree and the Diploma in Business Studies, endorsed in Personal Financial Planning.

Shelly puts clients' needs at the core of everything she does and is passionate about providing the highest level of service and leveraging the experience she has gained over her career in providing advice. Shelly focuses on constructing tailored portfolios with a complementary mix of investments to meet investors’ specific needs, objectives and preferences. She also works with KiwiSaver and Managed funds. Outside of work, Shelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, travelling, reading, exercising and going to the beach. She served as Board Chairperson at Kauri Park School for five years.
