Recently we announced our inaugural Forsyth Barr Charity Brokerage Day. This initiative involved Forsyth Barr donating all brokerage from institutional transactions undertaken with us on Thursday October 25, as well as making a donation on behalf of our broader business and including personal staff donations.
Our chosen charity for the donation is the Auckland City Mission's HomeGround development – a purpose-built world-class facility providing co-located infrastructure and services to help those in desperate need.
We are thrilled to confirm that last week’s inaugural Forsyth Barr Charity Brokerage Day has resulted in a donation of $452,000 to the Auckland City Mission’s HomeGround development.
We believe this is a truly impressive outcome from our inaugural Charity Brokerage Day and is testament to the generosity of our clients, our people and our firm.
We are very thankful to the institutional clients who focused their transactions with us on the day and the generosity of our staff who contributed personally to the final total.
We are proud of this result and we look forward positively to running the Forsyth Barr Charity Brokerage Day again next year in order to contribute to other important organisations in New Zealand.
