About Vivian Gu
Vivian Gu joined Forsyth Barr in 2019. She has over 10 years’ experience in the financial services sector, having worked as a Wealth Adviser and Private Banker at one of New Zealand’s leading banks. Vivian has a broad range of financial planning and investment advisory experience, with clients ranging from retirees to sophisticated Family Office clients. Vivian is also skilled in designing and managing migrant investment portfolios under Investor Category 1 and 2. Vivian enjoys helping clients to achieve their financial goals.
Vivian is an Authorised Financial Adviser (2012), and is accredited as an NZX Adviser. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Accounting and Finance) from the University of Auckland (2007).
Vivian was born in Shanghai, China and moved to New Zealand with her family in 2002. Outside of work, Vivian likes cooking and spending time with her young daughter.
