Forsyth Barr is proud to support The Horowhenua Company Ltd's International Women's Day, Women in Business Networking luncheon, at Tatum Wedding and Conference Centre in Manakau, Levin.
Attendees at the luncheon will also be celebrating the launch of the 5th edition of the Womanhood Journal to coincide with International Women's Day.
The speaker line up, from local businesses, will be four women who have featured in the Womanhood Journals.
The Womanhood Journal was born from an idea to share women's stories across Kāpiti and Horowhenua, in celebration of International Women’s Day. It is a deliberate project to share powerful stories of their journeys through business and life.
So far, stories from 120 women have been shared from our communities whose stories offer depth, diversity, inspiration and unity. This celebratory edition features all of their faces and acknowledges their contribution.
